2007 was Scouting's Centenary year. To celebrate providing 100 years of adventure to young people we held a huge Jamboree for over 40000 Scouts from around the world at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex (home to the Southern leg of the V Music Festival). The event spanned over two weeks and Scouts got involved in local community projects, learnt about each others cultures and generally had lots of fun.
