Thank you for your interest in the South Yorkshire Units that will be attending the 24th World Scout Jamboree to be held in North America in 2019.
A World Scout Jamboree is a world Scouting event for young people aged at least 14 and under 18 on the first day of the Jamboree and is a gathering of Scouts and Guides from all over the world for an exciting programme of global development, peace, cultural understanding, adventure, fun and friendship.
South Yorkshire have been allocated..
Full Unit – 36 young people and four leaders from South Yorkshire
Joint Unit – 27 young people and three leaders from South Yorkshire and 9 young people and one leader from Central Yorkshire
We are sure that a large number of young people will want to take part in this event so please read the Participant Guidance Pack and make sure you understand the requirements and what will happen next.

Please note the deadline for applications is midnight on the 17th September 2017. Unfortunately, applications submitted after this deadline will not be considered. You will receive an automated reply as soon as you apply and a further email after the 17th September. If you don’t hear from us within 48 hours of submitting your application please email Richard Wade and double check we have received it.
